Patrons
This page will be updated as guests appear in podcast episodes. Short biographies and pictures will accompany guests so you can put a face to the voices you may hear. Also a little background on each person will also appear.
Brian Liles. A close and personal friend of mine since third grade. Current owner and contributor to his own FJ Cruiser related website Brians4x4adventures.com. We were in Boy Scouts together and our friendship has only gotten stronger over the years. Traveled to Utah together some years back. Brian enjoys many of the same hobbies I do including photography, grilling, animal lover, Battlestar Galactica and much more. Father of two teenage boys, and hold the honor of being my first podcast guest.
Harold Giansanti. He’s my grandfather on my mother’s side. 100% Italian, has all his faculties, and occasionally still drives his 1970-esque Volkswagen bus. A retired carpenter who served in the Army as a tail-gunner in WWII, has owned a bar and restaurant in his younger days in Wakefield, MI. Moved out to CA in the late 50′s where he settled down in Anaheim where he still lives today at a young 91. Helped build rides and facades at Disneyland back in the day. Likes to hunt, fish, listen to jazz music, watch football and read when his eyes are rested. Been known to once smoke a pipe and curse with the best of them.
Albert Ihle. Another good friend of mine that I met in 9th grade biology class. A real unique individual who enjoys the outdoors to the fullest. He loves his days hikes, camping at the beach, biking, walking his dog, plenty of weekend get-aways, planting and maintaining his produce-rich garden (see the Earthbox podcast episode 17) with his wife Lisa. His career finds Albert as a graphic designer, helping to design websites, logos, t-shirt designs for both small and large clients alike. Recently started his own vector graphics outsourcing business.
